Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hotel housekeeping operations, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and that staff are trained to provide exceptional service. This role requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding our brand's reputation.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency if required.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery throughout the hotel.
- Perform cleaning duties in the apartments and public areas as and when required by the Head Housekeeper.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hotel industry is essential. Applications with experience of less than one full year of Housekeeping Supervisor in a hotel will not be considered.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in housekeeping operations.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
