Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Legal Admin Assistant to join the Private Client Department. This role involves providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of legal processes related to private client matters. Responsibilities
- Perform audio typing of legal documents, correspondence, and reports with accuracy and efficiency
- Manage and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and properly organised
- Draft, edit, and format legal documents using Microsoft Word and other Office applications
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates using Microsoft Outlook, ensuring effective time management
- Prepare presentations and reports using Microsoft PowerPoint as required for client meetings or internal briefings
- Assist with general administrative duties including filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry
- Communicate effectively with clients, solicitors, and external agencies via phone and email
- Support the team with IT-related tasks to ensure smooth operation of all digital systems
Qualifications
- Proven administrative experience, preferably within a legal or professional services environment
- Strong audio typing skills with high accuracy and speed
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Good IT skills with the ability to adapt to new software or systems quickly
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines efficiently
