Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Residential Porter and Cleaner (23 hours per week) for a position in Central London, W1. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of residential properties while providing excellent customer service to residents. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering high standards of cleanliness in a variety of settings. Previous experience in caretaking, residential or commercial cleaning is advantageous. The working hours are as follows:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 11:00 am ( 4 hour shift)
Saturday, 7:00 am to 10:00 am ( 3 hour shift)
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising all areas of the property
- Maintain organisation of communal areas and ensure they are welcoming for residents and visitors
- Assist with light maintenance tasks as required to uphold property standards
- Respond promptly to resident requests and provide excellent customer service
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are well-maintained and stored appropriately
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff
Experience
- Previous experience in caretaking, residential or commercial cleaning roles is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in providing outstanding customer service within residential or commercial settings is desirable
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards and resident satisfaction
Pay: £14.80 per hour
