Overview
Due to our rapidly growing wedding business, an exciting position has become available for a venue bar supervisor to join our team, the position is based in TN3 9UR.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, be able to handle pressure and multitask, as well as being great with people at every level. Energy and excitement is fundamental to the role, backed up by a strong work ethic.
Duties not limited to;
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to brand standards.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences (and allergens).
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including collecting & washing glassware and restocking supplies (when no bar back).
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, Including responsible alcohol service.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately.
- Interacting with customers to check customer satisfaction and managing any complaints
- Staff Management
- Opening/Closing checklists
- Financial management
Skills
- Good customer service and interpersonal skills
- Previous bartending experience and cocktail knowledge essential
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Must be of legal drinking age
- Must have their own mode of transport due to location
