Position: Saturday Shop Assistant
Hours: Every Saturday, 8:30am–5:30pm
Contract: Permanent (not suitable for summer-only applicants)
Age Requirement: 16+
We’re looking for a reliable, physically fit individual to join our team in a permanent Saturday role.
This position is ideal for someone currently attending or starting college who wants to earn money alongside their studies.
Role Responsibilities-
•Assisting the butchers with preparing meats (wrapping & labelling)
•Cutting vegetables and general counter preparation
•Fetching, carrying, and restocking items
•Emptying bins and maintaining shop cleanliness
•Helping customers carry bags to their cars
•General shop upkeep and cleaning duties
Requirements
Must be 16 or over
Must be physically fit – this role is physically demanding
Must be able to work every Saturday
Must be available for essential overtime during busy periods (Christmas, Easter, summer)
Permanent commitment required
