Salary: Competitive salary – £28,000–£32,000

Purpose of the Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Logistics Administrator to support the Head of Facilities with the smooth day-to-day coordination of logistics, fleet, stock and facilities activities.
This is a varied role where you will help keep deliveries, vehicle records, servicing, suppliers and administration running efficiently. You will work closely with Operations, Yard teams, Finance, drivers and external suppliers, making sure information is accurate, up to date and communicated clearly.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily delivery and collection requirements.
- Maintain delivery schedules and support route planning.
- Keep Operations, Yard teams and relevant colleagues updated on logistics activity.
- Maintain accurate vehicle, servicing, MOT, PMI and maintenance records.
- Arrange vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance appointments.
- Support driving licence checks, fuel card administration and fleet records.
- Maintain transport compliance files and highlight upcoming deadlines.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors and service providers.
- Obtain quotations and support Purchase Order and invoice administration.
- Maintain stock and inventory records and assist with authorised orders.
- Support Facilities administration, contractor visits and maintenance records.
- Prepare regular updates and reports for the Head of Facilities.
- Follow up outstanding actions and escalate issues when required.
About You
You will be someone who enjoys keeping things organised, solving problems and supporting a busy operational team.
You will ideally have:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident communication skills.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- A practical and positive approach to problem solving.
- Experience in logistics, transport, fleet, facilities or operational administration would be advantageous.
- Experience within construction or a similar industry would be beneficial.

- Deliveries and collections are clearly organised and communicated.
- Fleet and compliance records are accurate and up to date.
- Servicing, inspections and renewals are planned in good time.
- Suppliers and internal teams receive timely and accurate information.
- Administration is well organised and reliable.
- The Head of Facilities has the information and support needed to manage the function effectively.
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
