Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial/ domestic settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Previous experience in commercial cleaning is advantageous but not mandatory.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, ensuring all areas are free from dirt and debris.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain a clean environment.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and cleaning materials as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team setting.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
