Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various areas of the business, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise customer, staff and communal areas to a high standard.
- Carry out routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and disinfecting surfaces.
- Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored correctly.
- Report any maintenance issues or potential hazards to the appropriate department.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and hygiene standards at all times.
Skills
- Good communication, enabling clear understanding of instructions and effective interaction with team members.
- Good time keeping and able to work to a schedule.
- Customer service orientation with a friendly approach when engaging with clients or visitors.
- Organised with strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning standards are met consistently.
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities and punctuality.
Hourly rate will depend on experience and previous employment references will be required prior to starting.
As we are in a rural location own transport is a must.
