Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team. Responsibilities
- Ensure all kitchen utensils, cookware, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and properly stored after use
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen area in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Support with organising stock and supplies to ensure availability for daily operations
- Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently and responsibly
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents or hazards within the kitchen environment
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Experience working in a busy kitchen environment or culinary experience is beneficial
- Knowledge of health and safety standards within a hospitality setting is a plus
- A proactive approach with good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team
