We are a home care agency providing all aspects of care and support which enables individuals to stay in their own homes as independently as possible. This includes all aspects of personal care (showering / full body wash, dressing, toileting), but also assistance with medication and meals preparation. Usual shift patterns are: Morning shift 6:30am - 2pm; Evening shift 15:30pm - 10pm.
Care for each client is based on person- centered need assessment, this is usually around 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes. This means you are not based in one place but moving from one client’s house to the next.

Successful candidates must complete satisfactory Pre-Employment Checks, including PVG Disclosure Scotland, Right to Work in the UK and References.
All staff must apply to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Group scheme (PVG) through Disclosure Scotland. Initially this will cost £59 which you must pay yourself on offer of a position. An update is required every 2 years costing £18.
Must be willing to achieve the SVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). New staff must register with the SSSC during the induction week (cost £25). It is staff member responsibility to register with SSSC on time.
