The Guest Experience Curator will be an ambassador of the hotel and island throughout all stages of the guest's stay. They will be a poised professional, curating experiences and ensuring guests are informed of the best we have to offer in accommodations, Food and Beverage outlets, excursions and transport. Is a point of contact for guest’s, accommodating special requests whenever possible. Serves as the guest's liaison for both hotel and non-hotel services. Functions are an extension of front desk agent and Concierge duties. Assists the guest- regardless of whether inquiries concern in-hotel or off-premises attractions, facilities, services, or activities. Knows how to provide concise and accurate directions. Promotes the highest level of luxury service standards.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project a professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and Guest service.
- Provides guests with information about attractions, facilities, services, and activities in or outside the property.
- Coordinates guest requests for special services or equipment with the appropriate department.
- Handles reservation, tour and rental bookings for guests, meeting set up, party planning and special arrangements ensuring all requests are confirmed. Uses vast portfolio of vendor partners to ensure guests are receiving the best options during their stay.
- Updates guests on airline status, bus and ferry routes, weather, and emergency information where necessary.
- Makes guest reservations for transportation when requested.
- Register guests and assigns rooms. Accommodates special requests whenever possible.
- Thoroughly understand and adheres to proper credit, check- cashing, and cash handling policies and procedures.
- Understands room status and room status tracking.
- Knows room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates.
- Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notification housekeeping of all check outs, late checkouts, early check-ins, special requests, and day use rooms.
- Process guest check-in's/check-outs.
- Performs cashier related functions like posting charges to guest accounts, raising paid out's, currency exchange.
- Works closely with the housekeeping department in the keeping room status reports up to date and coordinates requests for maintenance and repair work from guests.
- Uses proper telephone etiquette.
- Uses proper mail, courier, and message handling procedures. Process and deliver messages for Guests.
- Attends department meetings.
- Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager or assistant manager.
- Knows all safety and emergency procedures. Is aware of accident prevention policies.
- Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk/concierge area.
- To ensure that all necessary equipment is maintained properly with sufficient stock for day to day operations.
- Provide support to Management as required.
- Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe working area.
- Contacts roomed guests periodically to ascertain any special needs.
- Handles guest complaints and solve problem to the degree possible.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- At least two years of Front Office experience in Reception, Concierge, or an administrative role
- Previous hotel experience preferred, including familiarity with operating systems such as OPERA, RDPWin PMS, or similar platforms
- Any hotel or hospitality certifications are considered an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong guest-service focus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and perform well under pressure
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards
- Professional presentation and a genuine passion for hospitality
- Knowledge of local attractions and guest services is an asset
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, nights, and public holidays
