Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic logistics team. This role involves managing materials, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within a busy warehouse environment. Responsibilities
- Picking and packing orders accurately to meet customer specifications and deadlines
- Organising stock replenishment and stocking shelves to optimise space utilisation
- Assisting with shipping and receiving processes, including preparing goods for dispatch or receipt
- Conducting quality control checks to maintain product standards
- Ensuring the workspace remains clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Supporting team members in various logistical tasks as required
Skills
- Proven experience in warehousing or logistics operations
- Proficiency in materials handling techniques, including heavy lifting safely
- Valid forklift licence or experience operating forklift trucks is highly desirable
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar inventory software
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures
- Mechanical knowledge beneficial for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail for stock accuracy
- Ability to perform physical tasks including load & unload operations over extended periods
- Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment

Pay: £21,500.00-£26,500.00 per year
