Xerogrid is a small, growing solar and battery storage business based in Yorkshire. We sell and install Victron, Fronius and Pylontech equipment. We're small enough that everyone's job has some overlap, so this role covers installation work alongside warehouse, stock and driving duties.
We're looking for an electrician who wants to move from general electrical work into solar and battery installation, and who's comfortable with a role that isn't narrowly defined.
What the role covers
- Installing and commissioning solar PV and battery storage systems on site
- Driving to sites and supplier collections
- Supporting warehouse and stock control: goods in, goods out, keeping things accurate
- Packing and dispatching customer and trade orders when site work allows
- Liaising directly with customers during installation
- Identifying and resolving issues on site, or escalating where needed
- Keeping job paperwork (certificates, job sheets, photos) up to date
Essential
- Recognised electrical qualification (18th Edition minimum)
- Full UK driving licence
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
- Comfortable moving between different types of task in the same week
Desirable
- Experience with Victron, Fronius or similar inverter systems
- G98/G99 or grid connection knowledge
- Forklift or counterbalance licence
- Previous warehouse or stock control experience
