What you’ll be doing
Martin-Baker is the world’s leading manufacturer of ejection seats, helping to protect aircrew in the world’s most advanced military aircraft. Our mission is simple - to save aircrew lives.
Join us on this mission as an Inspector in the Sheet Metal department at our Denham site. The purpose of the role is to undertake a variety of processes for product verification of parts, components and assemblies.
- Carry out testing/inspection of assemblies and components using a variety of processes and techniques.
- Generate and maintain inspection documentation in accordance with the relevant Company Quality Assurance policy
- Use SAP to accurately record all work in progress, track processing of component batches through the manufacturing process, accurately record the location of components and parts and record all non-conforming products.
- All inspection equipment is to be checked, maintained and within calibration.

Characteristics & Skills
- Experience of using Inspection Tools and Equipment
- Broad experience of reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Working knowledge of GDT (geometrical dimensional tolerancing)
- Experience of using hand tools
- Solid numeracy skills
- General work background in manufacturing / engineering
