Overview
We are seeking vigilant and dependable Security Staff to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a professional demeanour, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attention to detail and proactive security measures are paramount. All positions are paid, including internship opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or breaches
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing and deterring theft or unauthorised access. SIA licence is a requirement due to requirements in the security industry
- Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies with appropriate action
- Assist with crowd control during events or busy periods to ensure safety and order
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks using apps on phones
- Provide first aid assistance when required and coordinate emergency response procedures
- Enforce site policies and procedures consistently and professionally
Experience
- Prior experience in security or surveillance roles is advantageous but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided
- Familiarity with loss prevention methods and emergency response protocols is beneficial
- Valid first aid certification or willingness to obtain certification is preferred
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations effectively
- Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance are essential
- Able to drive own car an advantage as most site are remote or require travel due outside of public transport hours

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
