Overview
We are seeking a professional HGV / Beavertail Driver .
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving, with experience in delivering cargo using flatbed and beavertail lorries. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent driving skills, a commitment to safety, and organisational abilities to manage deliveries efficiently.
Duties
- Operate HGV lorries with flatbed or beavertail configurations to transport heavy plant and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Secure loads properly on flatbeds or beavertails, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any faults or issues promptly.
- Assist with loading and unloading as required, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including delivery notes and logs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed or beavertail vehicles.
- Valid HGV licence suitable for the vehicle type being operated.
- Good understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for secure load transportation.
- Ability to operate vehicles safely under various weather conditions and terrains.
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
