Duties
- Design and develop heat pump systems based on project specifications and client needs
- Install, commission, and test heat pump equipment ensuring optimal performance
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing systems to maximize efficiency
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams for system assembly and repair
- Lead maintenance teams or contractors during installation projects, providing technical guidance and oversight
- Diagnose equipment issues related to air conditioning components, refrigerant cycles, or mechanical failures
- Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, fans, valves, or control boards to restore system functionality
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) principles
- Proficiency in reading and working from schematics and technical drawings
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams or overseeing projects
- Skilled in equipment repair with a focus on heat pumps, air conditioning units, and related mechanical systems
- Construction experience is highly desirable for installation projects in various environments
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for HVAC systems to ensure long-term operational stability
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly and effectively while maintaining safety standards
