Responsibilities
- Execute hardscaping projects including the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structural features using hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators.
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as clearing debris, leveling surfaces, and preparing sites for planting or further construction.
- Operate and maintain equipment including excavators, irrigation systems, and various power tools to ensure safety and efficiency on site.
- Assist with gardening and horticultural activities by planting, pruning, mulching, and maintaining garden beds to complement hardscape features.
- Collaborate with team members to plan project layouts, measure sites accurately, and follow detailed specifications to meet client expectations..
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times while working with construction materials, machinery, and landscaping chemicals.
Skills
- Proven experience in landscape construction and hardscaping techniques with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating excavators, irrigation systems, power tools, and other landscaping equipment.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as shovels, trowels, levels, saws, and drills for precise work.
- Ability to read technical drawings and project plans accurately for successful execution of designs.
