Female Support Workers required to provide support to an elderly lady with dementia who lives in Ferryhill
Successful applicants will be providing personal care and carrying out household tasks for an elderly lady who lives in Ferryhill.
Two support workers required to share hours
Hours /Wage
Approximately 6.5 hours each per week @ £13.50 per hour
(£16.50 if self employed - evidence of appropriate insurance and registration with HMRC will need to be provided)
We are looking for two workers to cover the following hours daily between them:
45 minutes am (between 8 and 9)
30 minutes lunchtime
45 minutes pm (between 8 and 9)
Plus
Additional 15 minutes on an evening 3 days a week for showering
Additional 15 minutes Saturday am to administer alendronic acid
Additional 20 minutes to collect medication
Duties will include but not be limited to following as detailed instructions will be provided by employer
- Assist with all personal care tasks including showering
- Make bedding, empty commode
- Preparing breakfast, lunch and evening meal
- Support with housework
- Collection and administration of medication
Additional Requirements/Information
The hours are to be shared between two workers, and there is some flexibility on the times, so please include your availability on your application.
Experience not required
An enhanced DBS will be required, employer will cover the cost
