- Manage contractual agreements with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, verify quantities, and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Implement effective cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on financial status, forecasts, and risk assessments for stakeholders.
Skills
- Proven experience in quantity surveying or construction cost management within diverse project environments.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and legal frameworks.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail when reviewing budgets and cost data.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as CostX, Bluebeam, or equivalent estimating tools.
