Enhanced Hair Studio – Newry & Belfast
Enhanced Hair Studio is looking for an experienced hairdresser with strong leadership and people-management skills to join our growing team in a senior management role.
This is an exciting opportunity for an established hairdresser who is ready to take the next step in their career and move into the specialist world of women’s hair loss and hair replacement.
The position will be based primarily in our Newry studio approximately four days per week, with one day per week in our Belfast studio.
With Enhanced Hair Studio entering an exciting period of growth, including a move to new premises and the development of our new Training Academy, we are looking for someone who can work closely alongside the business owner and play an important role in the next stage of the company.
The Role
This is a combined hands-on hairdressing, hair loss specialist and management position.
You will work with clients on the salon floor while also helping oversee the day-to-day running of our studios, supporting staff and ensuring the high standards of Enhanced Hair Studio are maintained across the business.
Full specialist training will be provided in all of our hair-loss and hair-replacement services.
Client & Specialist Work
Once fully trained, responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out consultations for new and existing hair-loss clients
- Fitting and maintaining our specialist hair-replacement systems
- Learning and performing our Enhanced Mesh Integration techniques
- Working with wigs, toppers and other hair-loss solutions
- Taking responsibility for more complex and higher-value client appointments
- Providing cutting, colouring, styling and finishing services where required
- Ensuring every client receives a professional, discreet and compassionate experience
- Building strong, long-term relationships with our clients
- Ensuring clients understand their maintenance schedules and are appropriately rebooked
Management Responsibilities
Alongside client work, you will help oversee the daily operation of the studios, including:
- Supporting and checking in regularly with members of staff
- Monitoring staff performance, standards and development
- Providing feedback to the business owner on how the team is progressing
- Ensuring salon procedures and standards are consistently followed
- Checking client records, consultation forms, consent forms and other required documentation are completed and kept up to date
- Monitoring client satisfaction and dealing professionally with any concerns
- Checking in with clients and helping maintain excellent client retention
- Overseeing stock levels and carrying out regular stock checks
- Identifying products, systems and supplies that need to be reordered
- Monitoring salon diaries, appointments and rebooking
- Helping ensure the studios run efficiently and professionally each day
- Supporting and mentoring other members of the team
- Communicating regularly with the business owner regarding staff, clients and salon performance
Training Academy & Business Development
Enhanced Hair Studio is expanding, with a move to new premises and the development of our Training Academy.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to become involved in this exciting area of the business, including:
- Assisting with the development and organisation of the Training Academy
- Supporting training days and practical demonstrations
- Helping maintain training standards and procedures
- Potentially progressing into delivering specialist training once fully experienced and confident in our techniques
- Working closely with the owner as the business continues to grow and develop
Who We Are Looking For
Hairdressing experience is essential for this position.
We are looking for someone who is:
- An experienced and confident qualified hairdresser
- Established within the hairdressing industry with strong practical skills
- Professional, organised and dependable
- Confident working independently and making day-to-day decisions
- A natural leader who is comfortable supporting and guiding other staff
- Warm, approachable and compassionate with clients
- Extremely particular about standards and attention to detail
- Comfortable having difficult conversations when necessary
- Able to identify problems and take initiative rather than waiting to be asked
- Interested in developing a long-term career within the specialist hair-loss industry
- Comfortable travelling between our Newry and Belfast locations
Previous hair-loss experience is NOT essential.
We will provide comprehensive training in our specialist hair-loss services and techniques. What is essential is a strong hairdressing background, the right attitude and the ability to lead and support a team.

Location
Approximately 4 days per week – Enhanced Hair Studio, Newry
Approximately 1 day per week – Enhanced Hair Studio, Belfast this is negotiable for the right candidate.
This position would suit an experienced hairdresser who still loves working with clients but is ready for more responsibility, greater variety and a senior role within a specialist and growing business.
