Summary
Portal Security is recruiting an experienced and professional Security Officer to join our team, supporting a bustling corporate site moments from East Croydon station.This is a high-level role providing essential support to the daily operations of the site. You will be expected to maintain exceptional standards at all times. We are looking for candidates with strong high end corporate security experience, excellent customer service skills, and the confidence to handle a range of situations professionally.
Job Details
- Pay: £14.80 per hour
- Shifts: Days - 3 on 4 off pattern.
- Contract: Permanent
- Location: High-end office building in East Croydon.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining a visible security presence
- conducting regular patrols
- Preventing unauthorised access to the premises
- Assisting visitors and occupiers
- Managing onsite contractors.
- Handle incidents calmly, confidently, and effectively
- Adapt quickly to varying site procedures and client expectations
- Uphold the highest standards of presentation, conduct, and professionalism
.Qualifications and Requirements
- Valid Security SIA Licence (mandatory)
- Extensive corporate security experience (mandatory)
- Proven customer service and client-facing skills
- Strong knowledge of corporate environments and protocols
- Minimum 5-year checkable work history (mandatory for vetting)
- Valid, in-date Right to Work documents (mandatory)
