Poets Interiors of Keswick is an independently run , locally owned friendly small family business selling Gifts Lighting Collectable's and Accessories.
This is a hands on job - we all muck in as required- most of the time you would be serving /talking with customers , using the till , helping with goods in (including occasional furniture/some heavy boxes) putting stock out ,arranging displays and helping with the everyday running of the store including house keeping . An interest in interior design or collectables may be an advantage . And if you can hang a picture frame or mirror ,even better.
We are looking for some one permanent to cover full and part time shifts (holidays etc) .
Full days currently 9. 15 am to 5.15 pm - (out season 9.45 - 4.15)
Mid Shift 11-3 ( but may longer at busy times) Please consider your traveling distance before applying
We open 7 days including Bank Holidays ( we do not open Christmas Day/Boxing Day or New Years Day ).Our rota a month in advance and we try to accommodate all staff as best we can. But does include weekends and bank holidays as required .
We don't believe in the hard sell -just friendly conversation and a nice smile.
Our current rate of pay is :£13 Hour (21 plus ) £10.95 Hour (18-20) £9 Hour (under 18 )
Retails experience preferred but full training given .
28 days paid holidays - pro rata to days worked -pension. Staff discounts of up to 30%
