We are currently recruiting for an experienced 2nd Fix Carpenter to join a busy construction site in Eastbourne. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a well-established contractor.
Duties:
- Hanging internal doors
- Installing skirting boards and architraves
- Fitting ironmongery, including handles, locks and hinges
- Installing kitchens and fitted units where required
- Completing finishing carpentry to a high standard
- Carrying out snagging and remedial works
- Reading and working from drawings
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS card
- Proven experience in 2nd fix carpentry on construction sites
- Own tools and PPE
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
- Reliable and punctual
