We are seeking an experienced Self-Employed Roofer to join a busy and growing team covering West Midlands / Staffordshire and Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson specialising in pitched and flat roofing to secure consistent work with competitive day rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out roofing works across pitched and flat roof systems
- Install, repair and maintain a variety of roofing materials
- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines without compromising quality
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations
- Collaborate with site teams and supervisors to deliver projects smoothly
Requirements
Must-have:
- 3–5 years’ roofing experience (pitched & flat)
- Valid CSCS Blue Card
- Strong understanding of roofing methods, materials and safety standards
- Ability to work independently as a self-employed contractor
- Reliable, punctual and committed to high-quality workmanship
Nice-to-have:
- Experience across a range of residential and commercial roofing projects
- Full UK driving licence
Salary & Benefits
- £220 – £250 per day (depending on experience)
- Van provided if needed
- Ongoing work with a reputable contractor
- Opportunity to work on varied projects across the Midlands
