I & L Burnett Ltd are looking for experienced Class 1 C+E HGV Drivers with a current ADR. We operate a modern and well maintained fleet of vehicles across the whole of the UK pulling flat trailers.
We have positions for UK Distance Drivers with a mix of local work when required.
The applicant shall have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team. They shall have a professional, reliable attitude with a willingness to learn and bring a positive representation of the company by providing a first-class service to all customers.
The applicant shall be prepared to work flexible hours as required to fulfil customer requirements. This may include weekend work and regular nights away from home.
All positions are based at our main site at Skene, Westhill, Aberdeenshire.
Essential Skills
· Current DCPC & UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
· Current ADR.
· Good Communication Skills: Regular contact with the Transport Operator and Customers when required.
· Confident in Load Securing: Ratchet/Straps and Chains/Dwangs.
· Geographical Knowledge of Aberdeen and surrounding area and UK.
· Clean and tidy operator.
Preferred Skills
· Flatbed, Tautliner and Step Frame Experience.
· Roping and Sheeting Experience.
· Multi-drop Experience.
