Salary: £55,000 + On-Call Payments + Performance Bonuses

Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience within the last 5 years in a Children's Residential Home management role.
- Experience working within an Ofsted-regulated Children's Residential setting.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to achieve within 2 years).

We are recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a Children's Residential Home in Bristol.

As the new Registered Manager, you will:
- Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Children's Residential Home, ensuring a safe, nurturing and supportive environment.
- Lead, motivate and develop a team to deliver high-quality, child-centred care.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and lead the service through inspections.
- Develop and implement tailored care plans that promote the physical, emotional and educational wellbeing of each child.
- Build strong relationships with local authorities, social workers, families and external professionals.
- Oversee recruitment, training, supervision and performance management of staff.
- Manage budgets effectively, ensuring resources are used to best support the needs of the children.
- Drive continuous improvement through quality assurance, audits and best practice
Requirements for this role:
- Minimum of 2 years' management experience within a Children's Residential Home during the last 5 years.
- Experience working within an Ofsted-regulated Children's Residential setting.
- Strong understanding of Children's Home Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to achieve within 2 years).
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Ability to build effective partnerships with external agencies and stakeholders.
- Full right to work in the UK.
About this role:
Reports to: Responsible Individual / Senior Leadership Team
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week) plus on-call responsibilities.
Setting: Small Children's Residential Home.
Focus: Leading a Children's Residential Home, ensuring compliance, high standards of care and positive outcomes for young people.
