Established in 2008, Spyker Design specialises in the manufacture and installation of bespoke joinery, retail environments, hospitality spaces and experiential marketing projects for some of the world's leading brands.
We are looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our growing team. This is a varied role that combines workshop finishing with on-site decorating and installation work across London and the UK.

The Role
You will be responsible for preparing and finishing bespoke joinery within our workshop, as well as carrying out painting and decorating works on-site. Many of our installations take place outside normal trading hours, so applicants must be willing to work nights and travel to sites when required.
No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who is adaptable, reliable and takes pride in delivering exceptional workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, fill, sand and finish bespoke joinery to a high standard.
- Apply paints, stains, lacquers and specialist decorative finishes.
- Carry out painting and decorating works on retail, commercial and hospitality projects.
- Assist with on-site installations and touch-up works.
- Protect finished surfaces and maintain a clean, organised working environment.
- Work from drawings and project briefs while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to the highest quality.
Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator.
- Excellent preparation and finishing skills.
- Experience working with both brush and roller applications, with spray finishing experience desirable.
- High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be willing to work nights, travel to site and work within our workshop.
