Duties
- Read and interpret roofing schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and repairs
- Measure roof areas accurately and prepare materials accordingly for efficient project execution
- Install various roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet project specifications
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks when necessary to create custom roofing components or repair damaged sections
- Use carpentry skills to construct roof frameworks, supports, and related structures with precision
- Conduct heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely to facilitate smooth workflow on-site
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure safety standards are maintained throughout all phases of work
Requirements
- Proven experience in roofing installation, repair, or related construction work with a strong understanding of roofing systems
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately for precise project execution
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques
- Knowledge of carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and general construction practices is highly desirable
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights, and standing for extended periods
- Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail to ensure quality workmanship
- Valid experience in using roofing materials such as shingles, metal panels, membranes, or tiles is preferred

Pay: £200.00-£262.39 per day
