We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. Responsibilities
- Manage front of house operations, including greeting guests, seating arrangements, and ensuring smooth flow of service.
- Supervise and coordinate team members, including serving staff, hosts, and baristas, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation standards to ensure quality and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all front of house activities.
- Assist in organising reservations, manage guest enquiries, and handle complaints professionally.
- Support team members with training in food production, serving techniques, and hospitality best practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the front of house area to uphold high standards of appearance and safety.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house teams.
- Monitor stock levels for service areas and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service that enhances guest experience.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Experience in restaurant service, including serving guests efficiently and professionally.
- Familiarity with culinary practices, food production processes, and kitchen operations.
- Previous hotel or barista experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and guests alike.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
