The Kingsmills Hotel Group operates two of Inverness’ leading luxury hotels — the 4-star Kingsmills Hotel and the 5-star Ness Walk — with an exciting new 72-bedroom city-centre hotel opening in Summer 2027. Each property offers a destination experience, combining luxury accommodation, exceptional food and beverage, and extensive conference and events facilities.
We are seeking a reliable and detail-orientated Finance Assistant to join our Finance Team. The successful candidate will assist the Finance Team with tasks as listed below, but not limited to. This is a great opportunity to join a small, supportive, team in a fast-paced finance environment.
About The Role
Based at the Kingsmills Hotel and working across all properties, this role will report directly to the Finance Director.
This position requires good time-management, accuracy and attention to detail.
Key responsibilities include:
- Bank reconciliations
- Sales Invoicing
- Posting of payments to Sales Ledger
- Revenue audit
- Petty Cash posting
- Ad-hoc reports/duties as requested/required
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a Part-time Finance Assistant, who has a high level of attention to detail.
You will have:
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within hospitality.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Confident using Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel between properties, within Inverness, would be preferable but not essential.

- Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Accounting software
- Desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of Sage Intacct
- Knowledge of hotel accounting
