FULL TIME EXPERIENCED DENTAL NURSE & TREATMENT COORDINATOR
Full Time | York City Centre | Private Referral Practice
Andrea Ubhi Dentistry is looking for an experienced, qualified Dental Nurse to join our established private dental team.
This is a varied and responsible position for someone who enjoys combining excellent clinical nursing with patient care, organisation and administration. It would suit a capable, meticulous nurse who likes being involved in the wider running of a practice—not solely working chairside.
The Role
Your role will combine:
- Dental nursing
- Treatment coordination and patient care
- Clinical administration and audits
- Reception and front-of-house support
You will work with experienced clinicians across implant, restorative, endodontic and orthodontic dentistry. Opportunities will include:
- Assisting with implant surgery and advanced restorative procedures
- Nursing alongside our Specialist Orthodontist
- Supporting patients through consultations and complex treatment journeys
- Following up enquiries and treatment plans
- Helping coordinate appointments and multidisciplinary care
- Assisting with clinical audits, record keeping and practice systems
- Supporting reception and patient communications when required
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced nurse who would like to broaden their role and become an important part of both the clinical and organisational life of the practice.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- A qualified, GDC-registered Dental Nurse
- Experienced and confident in clinical dental nursing
- Calm, warm and reassuring with patients
- Highly organised, dependable and proactive
- Meticulous, with a keen eye for detail
- Comfortable using the telephone and speaking with patients
- Someone who enjoys administration and following things through
- Able to work to high clinical and professional standards
- Interested in learning and taking on additional responsibility
- A genuine team player
Additional Qualifications and Experience
The following would be particularly welcome:
- Dental sedation nursing qualification and experience
- Dental radiography qualification
- Implant nursing experience
- Orthodontic nursing experience

- Treatment Coordinator training and development
- Paid ongoing CPD

- An experienced and supportive clinical team
- A well-established private referral-practice environment
- Five additional days’ holiday, pro rata, after five years’ service
