EnergyAce are seeking to recruit a fully qualified and experienced Electrician to fill the role of Field Service & Installation Engineer with a good knowledge of electrical installations and servicing of electrical equipment & switchgear to assist the service and maintenance team in supporting our clients throughout the UK.

Basic salary: £42K per annum + Overtime + Profit Share + Bonus - Circa: £53K-£60K

The Role:
The role requires a fully qualified gold card electrician with a proven track record of at least 5 years experience in a service or installation role who can demonstrate an ability for attention to detail.
The role will include the installation, service & repair of EnergyAce products throughout the UK and carrying out detailed surveys on customer sites prior to the installation of EnergyAce products.
Full product training will be conducted and a vehicle will be provided with generous allowances for overnight stays.
On average, Service Engineers may stay away from home approximately six to eight nights per month dependant on the location of works and occasionally carry out installations during unsociable hours and at weekends.
Following a period of internal training, you will be primarily responsible for:
- Surveying sites for installation of EnergyAce products
- Producing survey & installation reports
- Service & maintenance of EnergyAce products
- Installation of EnergyAce products
- Installing test equipment on customer sites
- Replacing parts and carrying out repairs where necessary
- Liaising with customers
- Maintaining good records and paperwork associated with the above
- Keeping good care of company assets, vehicles, tools and plant etc
- Working away from home for periods of time.
The Candidate:
Working mainly from the EnergyAce head office in Leyland and with travel throughout the UK, the ideal candidate would need to work well individually and as part of a team.
Qualities around diligence, reliability and enthusiasm are key while the right person would need to demonstrable their ability for attention to detail, a good electrical knowledge and a formal path of training.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a similar role around Electrical service & maintenance and Electrical installation.
Experience Required
- Minimum NVQ level 3 in Electrical Engineering or similar
- MUST have at least 5 years relevant experience
- ECS - Electricians Gold card
- Cable cutting, crimping and preparation
- An ability to fully understand wiring diagrams and single line drawings
This position would ideally suit an existing Electrical Engineer, Electrical Service Engineer or Electrician / Installation engineer with good organizational skills and looking for a varied role with an element of travel.
