Beers Timber & Building Supplies Ltd, is a long-established independent Merchant, offering general timber and building supplies to both the trade and the general public alike, throughout Merseyside, Warrington, Wirral, Manchester and the North-West area as a whole.
About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for the role of Internal Sales Person, based within our Boundary Street Depot.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and preferably have experience in sales within a builder’s merchant or similar retail outlet, have good computer skills and a full UK driving licence preferable.
Good product knowledge of timber and building materials is preferable. Experience in telephone selling and customer service is also needed.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Telephone Sales to tradesmen and general public
- Counter Sales
- Ordering stock
- Stock control
- Cash Handling
Experience
- Strong knowledge of timber and building products an advantage
- Customer service skills
- Telephone skills
- Good computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
- Self-motivation and positive attitude towards work with the ability to self-supervise
Hours of work:
7.30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday
7.30am - 4.30 pm Friday
1 in 2 Saturday’s 8.00 am to 12.30pm.
