An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and compassionate Therapy Assistant to join our friendly Community Rehabilitation Team. Working alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Clinical Nurse Specialists, you will support patients with a range of conditions including stroke, Parkinson's disease, MS, cancer, amputations and general frailty.
Based across outpatient clinics, patients' homes and care settings, you'll play a key role in delivering rehabilitation programmes, promoting independence and supporting people to achieve their goals.
We're looking for someone who:
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Holds an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent experience)
Has GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
Has recent therapy experience within the NHS or private sector
Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle for work

Be a rehabilitation therapy assistant and understand the knowledge and skills required for the post.
Work with registered staff to provide a service for a defined population of service users in a variety of settings across the Partnership Trust including the community and hospitals.
To be able to maintain concentration and focus to fulfil delegated tasks.
Be skilled in undertaking delegated tasks in the implementation of rehabilitation packages and provide feedback working under the direction of a registered practitioner.
Demonstrate effective communication skills with both colleagues and services users.
Competent with IT and the ability to use clinical systems.
