The opportunity
We are looking for a reliable, detail-focused Cleaner to cover six residential sites in Kent. The role is primarily focused on the routine cleaning of communal areas, together with occasional deep cleaning of flats when required. Regular driving between sites is an essential part of the role, so applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have a suitable vehicle.
Key responsibilities
- Clean the communal areas across all six sites to the agreed schedule and standard.
- Vacuum, sweep and mop floors and clean entrances, corridors, stairs, lifts, touchpoints and other allocated areas.
- Clean agreed kitchens, toilets, bin stores, offices and other specified communal spaces, and carry out occasional deep cleans of flats when instructed.
- Remove waste, replenish approved consumables and report bulky waste, damage or hazards promptly.
- Use products, equipment and PPE correctly and follow COSHH and site safety instructions.
- Drive between all six Kent sites using a suitable vehicle and arrive at each location reliably and on schedule.
- Secure keys, access codes, alarms, products and equipment in line with company procedure.
- Complete cleaning checklists or digital records and provide photographs where required.
- Report maintenance, safety, pest, access or resident concerns through the correct channel.
- Represent the company professionally when working around residents, visitors, contractors and colleagues.
What good performance looks like
- All six sites consistently meet the agreed communal cleaning and presentation standard.
- The Cleaner follows the multi-site schedule reliably and communicates access or supply issues early.
- Products, keys, equipment and records are handled safely and accurately.
- Quality checks identify few repeat issues and any missed work is corrected promptly.
About you
Essential
- Full UK driving licence, a suitable vehicle and the ability to drive reliably between all six sites.
- Strong reliability, punctuality and ability to work independently.
- A careful eye for detail and pride in delivering a consistent standard.
- Ability to follow cleaning specifications, product instructions and safety procedures.
- Professional and respectful conduct in residential environments.
- Ability to carry out the genuine physical tasks of the role, with reasonable adjustments where required.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Previous professional cleaning experience in residential, hospitality, office or communal settings, including deep-clean work.
- COSHH or other cleaning/safety training.
- Experience working across multiple locations and using digital checklists.
