The Opportunity
We are looking for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant who is ready to step into a more responsible, client-facing role.
This position offers the opportunity to move beyond purely transactional work into a broader role that combines accounting, client management, and operational oversight. You will take ownership of a portfolio of clients, ensuring their financial processes run smoothly while gaining exposure to a wide range of businesses and industries.

The Role
As Client Services Manager, you will oversee the delivery of bookkeeping and financial support services to a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high service standards.
You will act as a key point of contact, combining your accounting knowledge with strong organisational and communication skills to manage deadlines, support clients, and improve internal processes.
Key Responsibilities
Client Accounting & Service Delivery
- Oversee day-to-day delivery of bookkeeping and accounting services
- Review and complete bank reconciliations, VAT returns, and ledger work
- Support month-end processes and management reporting
- Ensure all client deliverables are completed accurately and on time
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients
- Build strong relationships and provide ongoing financial support
- Respond to client queries relating to bookkeeping and financial processes
Financial Systems & Controls
- Work with cloud accounting platforms such as Xero and QuickBooks
- Maintain accurate financial records and identify discrepancies
- Ensure consistent application of processes and controls
Operational & Workflow Management
- Coordinate workloads and manage deadlines across multiple clients
- Support onboarding of new clients and process improvements
- Contribute to automation and efficiency initiatives within the business
About You
- Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (AAT / ACCA / CIMA or similar)
- Solid grounding in bookkeeping and core accounting principles
- Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or similar systems
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a client-focused mindset
- Looking to take on more responsibility and develop commercially
