- Willingness to learn and develop within a professional pest control career.
- Ability to pass a DBS check and any relevant industry vetting requirements.
- Previous pest control experience or RSPH Level 2 qualification is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.

The Role
As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections, identifying pest activity, implementing treatment programmes, and providing professional recommendations to customers.
This is a field-based position where you will travel directly from your home to customer sites throughout the day using a company vehicle. You will manage your own schedule, plan your routes, and complete assigned work independently while receiving support from our experienced team when required.
Following your appointments, you will return home in your company vehicle. Occasional visits to our office and stores facility in Whitchurch will be required for stock replenishment, training, meetings, and operational support.
A Typical Day Could Include
- Travelling to a variety of commercial and domestic customer premises.
- Conducting detailed pest inspections and identifying infestations.
- Determining and implementing appropriate treatment plans.
- Applying pest control treatments safely and in accordance with legislation and company procedures.
- Producing professional reports detailing findings, actions taken, and recommendations.
- Advising customers on pest prevention measures and best practices.
- Maintaining accurate service records using company systems.
- Responding to customer queries and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

- RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management.

Important Information
This is a field-based role covering the North West region. Candidates should ideally reside within the Crewe–Market Drayton or Shrewsbury–Oswestry areas to ensure effective coverage of our customer base.
