Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Panel Wirer to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical panels according to technical drawings and specifications
- Wire components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
- Install programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and surface mount technology (SMT) components
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of assembled panels to ensure functionality
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised workspace
- Assist in the realisation of project deadlines by working efficiently and accurately
- Document work completed and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors
Skills
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and surface mount technology (SMT) is highly desirable
- Strong electrical experience with a good understanding of wiring diagrams and schematics
- Mechanical knowledge to support assembly tasks and component installation
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Prior experience in electrical or panel wiring roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided where necessary
