Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the bar team to deliver outstanding service while maintaining high standards of hospitality and professionalism
- Oversee food and beverage preparation, ensuring quality control in line with established recipes and presentation standards
- Manage daily bar operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and safety protocols
- Train and mentor staff on food safety procedures, serving techniques, and hospitality best practices
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to support food production efforts and ensure seamless service during busy periods
- Enforce compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and licensing requirements
- Foster a positive team environment by motivating staff, conducting performance evaluations, and encouraging professional development
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably in bar management or similar leadership roles
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary principles
- Prior experience in restaurant or hotel environments with a focus on food safety and customer service excellence
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in high-pressure situations
- Familiarity with barista experience or beverage crafting is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong understanding of food production processes, kitchen operations, and serving etiquette
- Previous experience managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining compliance with health regulations
