Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and organised Warehouse Worker to join our IT recycling operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the handling, sorting, organisation, and separation of incoming IT and electronic equipment within our warehouse facility.
This role plays a vital part in supporting our recycling and reuse processes by ensuring equipment is accurately sorted, categorised, and stored in line with company procedures. This is a fully paid position offering a stable opportunity within a growing and environmentally responsible industry.
Responsibilities
- Manually handle, sort, and separate incoming IT and electronic equipment, including computers, laptops, monitors, printers, servers, and peripherals.
- Accurately organise and categorise equipment in accordance with company guidelines.
- Maintain structured storage areas and ensure stock is stored in the correct locations.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
- Move equipment safely throughout the warehouse using correct manual handling techniques.
- Label, organise, and prepare equipment for processing.
- Support stock checks and inventory management activities.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.
- Follow all health and safety procedures when lifting and handling equipment.
- Adhere to company processes and environmental compliance standards when managing electronic goods.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience.
- Must be hardworking, reliable, and self-motivated.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to accurately sort and categorise equipment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Physically fit and capable of safely lifting and moving equipment.
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
- Must hold a clean UK driving licence.
- Must be confident driving a Luton van when required.
- DBS check required (or willing to undergo a DBS check).
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Previous experience handling IT or electronic equipment is advantageous but not essential.
Desirable
- Experience driving commercial vehicles, including Luton vans.
Pay: £13.00 per hour
