Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of underwriters, ensuring accurate and timely risk assessments.
- Review complex financial documents, including financial statements, credit reports, and banking data to evaluate applicant eligibility.
- Develop and implement underwriting policies, procedures, and guidelines to optimize risk management processes.
- Conduct detailed risk analysis by applying quantitative methods and financial modeling techniques to assess potential exposures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as credit analysts, account managers, and risk management to streamline underwriting workflows.
- Lead negotiations with clients or brokers to clarify terms, resolve issues, or adjust conditions based on risk insights.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic factors that impact underwriting criteria and adjust strategies accordingly.

Pay: £66,000.00 per year
