Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Glass Collector to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our hospitality environment, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and previous experience in hospitality or food service settings. Responsibilities
- Collect and clean used glasses, ensuring they are ready for reuse or proper disposal in accordance with health and safety standards
- Assist with the organisation of glassware storage areas to maintain efficiency and safety
- Support the team in maintaining cleanliness throughout the venue, including bar and dining areas
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate glass collection schedules and report any issues promptly
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to during glass collection and cleaning processes
- Assist with basic food preparation or service tasks as required, supporting the overall operation of the establishment
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, food preparation, restaurant work, or hotel environments is desirable
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of kitchen or barista operations is a plus but not essential
- Physical ability to lift and carry glassware and move around the venue comfortably
- A friendly attitude with a focus on excellent customer service
- Reliable, organised, and able to follow health and safety procedures diligently
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
