Position Overview: We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Full Time Team Member to contribute to the smooth operation of our Farm Shop. This role involves working in the week with some flexibility required on weekends on a rota basis. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks to ensure that our customers receive top-notch service and our shop maintains a welcoming atmosphere. Any creativity will also be encouraged to make displays within the shop throughout the seasons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Stock and replenish shelves and displays as needed.
- Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately.
- Provide product information and answer customer inquiries.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking products.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and targets.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail experience is a plus but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a willingness to go the extra mile.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to changing schedules.
- A positive attitude and a team player mentality.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Food hygiene certification is preferred but not mandatory.
