We’re looking for a confident, calm, and fast Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team at Ria’s.

This is a great opportunity if you love kitchen, enjoy working as part of a team in a fast paced service environment and want to learn how to move into a Pizza Chef role.
What you’ll do
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, pot wash, and storage areas
- Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently throughout service
- Support chefs with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, portioning, and labelling ingredients
- Ensure bins are emptied regularly and waste is managed correctly
- Receive and organise deliveries following stock rotation procedures (FIFO)
- Keep floors, surfaces, fridges, and equipment clean and compliant with hygiene standards
- Assist with opening and closing cleaning duties
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods with general operational tasks
- Maintain a positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic within the team
