Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team for new build projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards on-site, ensuring that the environment is safe, tidy, and ready for occupation or further construction activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work. The position is paid and suitable for those who take pride in delivering high-quality cleaning services in a dynamic construction environment.
- CSCS card desirable but must be willing to work towards.
- Driving license and own vehicle preferable. (Fuel card provided.)
Higher rates can be negotiated if either or both of the above are applicable.
Duties
- Clean and sanitise all designated areas within new build sites, including floors, walls, windows, and fixtures
- Remove debris, dust, and waste materials from the site to maintain a safe working environment
- Ensure all surfaces are free from dirt, stains, and construction residues
- Restock cleaning supplies and ensure equipment is maintained in good working order
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times during cleaning activities
- Collaborate with site managers to prioritise cleaning tasks based on project schedules
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required during different stages of construction
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure thorough cleaning standards are met
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety guidelines
- Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites and cleaning procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness at all times

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
