Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. The ideal applicant will have previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning environments and a keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are consistently met. This is a key job and can be carried out from 5:30pm.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, washrooms, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, windows, and fixtures are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap as needed.
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties to management promptly.
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment for efficiency and safety.
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality.
