Job Purpose:
- To provide an effective, supportive and confidential service for women and children requiring emergency temporary safe accommodation.
- To provide crisis management, support and guidance to women who have experienced domestic abuse
- To ensure that the safe accommodation operational policies procedures are implemented and adhered to.
- To ensure all statistical data is collated and maintained for stakeholders and funding bodies.
- To support the Service Co-ordinator in developing the safe accommodation service to deliver the best possible outcomes for safe accommodation residents.
- To participate in the out of hours on-call system for all Leeway safe accommodation
- Hours of work are on a rota basis between 9.30am-6.30pm Monday - Friday & Saturday 9.30am-130pm
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant qualification or two years’ experience of working with women and children who are experiencing domestic abuse, for a statutory or voluntary agency.
- Experience of safeguarding vulnerable adults and children.
- The Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to use Microsoft office, database systems case management and report writing.
- To be flexible
Desirable Requirements: Experience in working in a residential setting.

Pay: £25,803.00 per year
Work Location: In person
