Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve not only bartending but also assisting with various tasks that contribute to the overall guest experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Welcoming guests, checking them into our hotel and assisting them with queries and recommendations in the local area.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Monitor guest consumption levels and adhere to licensing conditions.
- Assist with food service, ensuring food safety standards are met at all times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods, demonstrating strong time management skills.
- Uphold the highest standards of hospitality, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere for all guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous to ensure compliance with health regulations is desirable; however, training will be provided for the right candidate.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and helping others, contributing positively to team dynamics and guest satisfaction.
