We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and hands-on Head Chef to lead our busy Steakhouse & Grill. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who specialises in premium steaks, grilled meats, and high-quality fresh food.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' professional kitchen experience
- Previous experience as a Head Chef within a steakhouse, grill restaurant, or premium dining environment is essential
- Extensive knowledge of premium beef cuts, dry-aged meats, and grilling techniques
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 3 preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the kitchen during service and maintain exceptional food quality
- Cook premium steaks and grilled dishes to consistently high standards
- Manage kitchen operations, stock control, food safety, and hygiene
- Train, motivate, and develop the kitchen team
- Ensure excellent presentation, consistency, and customer satisfaction
- Work closely with management on menu development and food quality
